'Farm Animals & Us 2', a DVD for schools

This DVD, produced by Compassion in World Farming in the UK, is available free of charge to all Secondary Schools in the Republic of Ireland. Called Farm Animals & Us 2, this can be used in conjunction with Compassion-Ireland's fact sheets on farm animals in Ireland (from our website) to look at farm animal welfare generally.

Farm Animals & Us 2 examines farm animal behaviour (in a very interesting and enlightening way!) and considers farm animals in the wider perspective of global food production. Included on the DVD are teacher's notes and suggested activities for students.
